Ein Jobwechsel in eine verwandte Tätigkeit zahlt sich nicht nur finanziell aus - sondern ein erfolgreicher beruflicher Neuanfang erhöht auch die Produktivität. Das ergab eine Studie der Bertelsmann Stiftung, die ihre Ergebnisse am Dienstag präsentierte. Demnach sind Beschäftigte, die in einem eng verwandten Job neu starten, im Schnitt 6,2 Tage im Jahr mehr am Arbeitsplatz als diejenigen, die in einen komplett fremden Beruf wechseln.

Wirtschaftsminister Robert Habeck (Grüne) und Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz (SPD) halten eine baldige Verabschiedung des umstrittenen Heizungsgesetzes für möglich. "Ich sehe kein prinzipielles Problem, ein gutes Gesetz und einen Abschluss vor den Sommerferien hinzubekommen", sagte Habeck am Montag in Berlin. Auch Scholz äußerte sich optimistisch. Deutlicher mehr Kfz-Neuzulassungen im Mai
Die Zahl der neu zugelassenen Autos ist im Mai deutlich gestiegen. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat kletterte sie um 19,2 Prozent auf knapp 247.000 Pkw, wie das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) in Flensburg am Montag mitteilte. Der Anstieg geht maßgeblich auf eine Zunahme um 28,7 Prozent der Zulassungen durch gewerbliche Halter zurück. Die privaten Neuzulassungen stiegen demnach um 2,7 Prozent - nur jede dritte Zulassung erfolgte privat.

Eine solche Kennzeichnung forderte die EU-Kommission am Montag in Brüssel. Für normale Nutzer müsse klar erkennbar sein: "Hier spricht ein Roboter", sagte EU-Vizekommissionspräsidentin Vera Jourova. Vorerst sollen die Angaben für die Konzerne freiwillig sein.

Bundeswirtschaftsminister Robert Habeck (Grüne) hat ein neues Förderinstrument für den klimafreundlichen Umbau besonders CO2-intensiver Industriezweige vorgestellt. Sogenannte Klimaschutzverträge mit Unternehmen sollen die Treibhausgasemissionen senken und den Aufbau einer "neuen grünen Industrie in Europa und in Deutschland" begünstigen, wie Habeck am Montag sagte. Abhängig von den Haushaltsverhandlungen soll ein "mittlerer zweistelliger Milliardenbetrag" dafür zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Exporte im April wieder leicht gestiegen
Nach einem deutlichen Rückgang im März haben die Exporte aus Deutschland im April wieder leicht zugelegt. Kalender- und saisonbereinigten stiegen sie im Monatsvergleich um 1,2 Prozent, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Montag mitteilte. Die Import gingen demnach um 1,7 Prozent zurück.

Saudi-Arabien drosselt weiter seine Ölproduktion
Angesichts sinkender Ölpreise hat Saudi-Arabien am Sonntag eine weitere Drosselung seiner Ölproduktion angekündigt. Die Produktion werde im Juli um eine Million Barrel täglich gedrosselt und dies könne "verlängert werden", sagte der saudiarabische Energieminister Abdelasis bin Salman nach Verhandlungen der 13 Opec-Staaten sowie von zehn Partnerländern in Wien.

Frankreichs Kreditwürdigkeit werde weiterhin mit AA bewertet, teilte S&P Global am Freitag mit. Die Ratingagentur begründete dies mit den geplanten Maßnahmen der Regierung in Paris zur Reduzierung der Staatsschulden sowie mit der jüngst durchgesetzten Rentenreform.
Entwurf für internationales Plastikabkommen soll bis November stehen
Ein internationales Abkommen zur Eindämmung von Plastikmüll ist einen kleinen Schritt nähergerückt: Regierungsvertreter aus 175 Ländern einigten sich am Freitag in Paris darauf, bis Ende November den ersten Entwurf des Abkommens zu verfassen. Der US-Arbeitsmarkt hat sich trotz einer Reihe von Leitzinserhöhungen erneut überraschend robust gezeigt. Die größte Volkswirtschaft der Welt schuf im Mai 339.000 neue Jobs und damit deutlich mehr als erwartet, wie das Arbeitsministerium in Washington am Freitag mitteilte. Die Arbeitslosenquote stieg gleichwohl leicht um 0,3 Punkte auf 3,7 Prozent an.

Das Bundeskartellamt prüft derzeit, ob die Mobilfunkgesellschaft Vodafone die Mitnutzung von Funkturmmasten durch den Konkurrenten 1&1 behindert und damit gegen Kartellrechtsvorschriften verstößt. Die Wettbewerbsbehörde wolle sich genau ansehen, "ob es gute Gründe für eine Verzögerung bei der Bereitstellung von Antennenstandorten für 1&1 gibt", erklärte die Behörde am Freitag in Bonn. 1&1 hatte im Februar Beschwerde gegen Vodafone eingereicht.

Zahl der Berufe mit Fachkräftemangel hat 2022 weiter zugenommen
Die Zahl der sogenannten Engpass-Berufe, in denen Fachkräfte besonders knapp sind, hat laut einer Analyse der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) 2022 deutlich zugenommen. Im vergangenen Jahr wurde demnach in 200 von rund 1200 bewerteten Berufen ein Engpass festgestellt, 52 mehr als im Jahr zuvor. Ein Problem ist demnach, dass Arbeitslose eher selten einen Job in einem der betroffenen Berufe suchen.

Deutsche Privathaushalte produzierten 2021 erneut mehr Müll
Die deutschen Privathaushalte haben 2021 mehr Müll produziert als noch im ersten Corona-Jahr. Nach Angaben des Statistischen Bundesamts in Wiesbaden vom Freitag stiegen die Siedlungsabfälle, also Müll aus privaten Haushalten oder vergleichbaren Einrichtungen (Arztpraxen, Kinos) um 1,6 Prozent auf 51,8 Millionen Tonnen. Insgesamt sei in Deutschland aber weniger Müll verursacht worden, was insbesondere auf abnehmende Bau- und Abbruchabfälle zurückzuführen sei.

Die Bundesnetzagentur hält die Strategie der Bundesregierung zur staatlichen Gasbeschaffung in der Energiekrise im vergangenen Jahr rückblickend für gerechtfertigt. "Es war richtig, dass wir im vergangenen Sommer schnell gehandelt haben und alles darangesetzt haben, die Gasspeicher für den Winter zu füllen", erklärte Bundesnetzagentur-Chef Klaus Müller am Freitag. Die Wehrbeauftragte des Bundestags, Eva Högl (SPD), empfiehlt in der Diskussion über die Personalgewinnung der Bundeswehr die Wiedereinführung der Musterung. Bundesbauministerin Klara Geywitz (SPD) hat die Kritik an der im Gesetzesentwurf zur kommunalen Wärmeplanung vorgesehenen Erfassung von Heizdaten als unbegründet zurückgewiesen. "Unser Gesetzentwurf wurde dem Bundesdatenschutzbeauftragten vorgelegt und er hatte keine Einwände", sagte sie der "Augsburger Allgemeinen" vom Freitag. "Die erhobenen Daten unterliegen der strengen Datenschutzgrundverordnung."

Die Eisenbahn- und Verkehrsgewerkschaft (EVG) sei auf der anderen Seite in der Pflicht, einen Warnstreik rechtzeitig anzukündigen. Am besten wäre es natürlich, würden Unternehmen und Gewerkschaft ihre Verhandlungen fortsetzen.
Bericht: Durchsuchung in Deutschland wegen Anschlags auf Nord-Stream-Pipelines
Im Zuge der Ermittlungen zum Anschlag auf die Nord-Stream-Erdgaspipelines im vergangenen September haben Ermittler in Deutschland einem Medienbericht zufolge eine Wohnung durchsucht. Wie WDR, NDR und "Süddeutsche Zeitung" am Donnerstag unter Berufung auf den Generalbundesanwalt berichteten, identifizierte das Bundeskriminalamt (BKA) eine Frau als Zeugin, ihre Wohnung sei Ende Mai durchsucht worden. Dem Bericht zufolge soll sie die ehemalige Lebensgefährtin eines Ukrainers sein, dem eine Beteiligung an dem Anschlag vorgeworfen werde.
